Improving reporting of lifestyle interventions

Description
Although studies have shown that lifestyle interventions improve disease management and health outcomes, the research community has faced persistent challenges in the interpretation and implementation of research in this field. A major limitation is the absence of a widely used, standardised reporting framework for lifestyle interventions. his is one of the crucial limitations in the field of lifestyle interventions that limits interpretation, replication and implementation of research moving forward. There is the need for a move towards a standardised reporting approach for the documenting of lifestyle (diet, physical activity and/or behavioural) interventions. This project will involve the development of an international consensus approach to the descriptions of lifestyle interventions within all research papers to aid translation of evidence into practice. This will involve elements including evidence synthesis, survey development, conducting workshops for achieving consensus (Delphi and Nominal Group Technique).
