Description
Single cell technologies are being rapidly adopted and accordingly, there is a high demand for intuitive tools and software that help with the analysis and interpretation of such large and complex data. This project aims to develop methods and associated software packages for the analysis of the single cell RNA-seq data, such as methods to identify molecular programs within subsets of cells, perform data integration and predictions, and develop data visualisation suites to aid with interpreting results.
Given the computational nature of this project the ideal candidate would have: strong programming skills with experience using bash/command line and data science languages such as R or python, and an interest in the development of computational tools for cancer research. This project would be suitable for PhD or MSc students.
