Description
Bike riding has the potential to lead to huge gains in population health (such as through increased physical activity) and environmental health. However, a number of barriers exist that prevent people from riding bikes.
A number of mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative) projects are available that focus on understanding the needs of specific population sub-groups, including:
- Females
- People who have recently commenced cycling
- People who have recently stopped cycling
- People living in lower socioeconomic areas / growth areas
